  38. The JFIF Datatype by Christoph Feck of Tower Systems
  39. includes a progress window and a Prefs option for
  40. different display modes. (It's also quite fast).
  41. Now licensed for commercial distribution by CHROMA.
  42.  
  43. For this release of DataChrome, the datatypes are to
  44. be kept in the format of their original archive to satisfy
  45. license restrictions.

  47. Follow the JFIF documentation to install this datatype. It
  48. includes extra files in Libs, Codecs, Prefs etc. You WILL
  49. need to remove existing JPEG datatypes to use it.

  51. The GIF datatype on this disk is by Michael Zucchi. Permission
  52. to distribute this datatype with the package has been
  53. granted by the author.

  55. An install script has been provided, which will install
  56. PCX, Windows and GIF datatypes for you (but not JFIF).

  63. If you've the "Amiga.info" datatype installed, you could
  64. encounter problems when DataChrome intercepts "open file"
  65. system calls. Keep it in Storage until it's needed, or
  66. just de-activate DataChrome.

  68. Make sure you install BOTH parts of the Datatypes into
  69. Classes/ and Devs/ - some Datatypes also require extra
  70. (ie more than 2) files to work.
